AKL for small and medium-sized companies

Leingarten, November 19, 2018: At LogiMAT 2019, XPROMA systems GmbH will focus on storage and conveyor technology for containers and cardboard boxes and will be showing its latest new developments for efficient handling, intelligent storage processes and automated transport in intralogistics.

At its third appearance at the LogiMAT, XPROMA systems GmbH, Leingarten, presents itself with several new developments as a solution provider for automated storage and conveyor technology in small and medium-sized companies. The focus of the trade fair appearance in Hall 5, Stand F20, is a new Pegasus-class stacker crane for automatic small parts storage (AKL), a comprehensive container conveyor technology series and the presentation of a tailor-made workplace solution.

As a sub-exhibitor, Freiberger Prolog Automation GmbH & Co KG, integrator of Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR), will also be presenting an automated guided vehicle (AGV) from current series production at the stand. As a cooperation partner of the MiR integrator, XPROMA systems equips the flexibly configurable transport robots from Prolog Automation with special structures and application-specific conveyor technology attachments such as roller conveyors, belt and chain conveyors.

Optimal design of the components for the AKL, which are precisely coordinated with one another and compatible across systems, which the owner-managed company produces entirely itself, ensure maximum availability and fast, reliable processes. “Thanks to an intelligent production method and a newly thought-out safety concept, the miniload pays for itself more quickly than conventional systems,” explains Daniel Blauig, Managing Director of XPROMA systems. “This means that an automatic small parts warehouse is now also affordable for small and medium-sized companies.” The technological highlight of the “Pegasus” presented for the first time at LogiMAT 2019 is the new storage and retrieval machine (RBG) for the AKL. With the further developments implemented, the RBG achieves extreme dynamics with significantly increased performance with the same energy consumption.

For the supply and removal of containers, cartons, trays and other products such as general cargo weighing up to 50 kg, XPROMA systems is presenting a new, modular conveyor system for all transport requirements with the conveyor technology series 200 at the LogiMAT 2019 for the first time in intralogistics. The remarkably low-maintenance and low-noise conveying elements are designed to be easy to assemble and are characterized by their high level of robustness and low maintenance requirements. “With this sophisticated profile system, the 200 series can be manufactured much more quickly and easily,” says Daniel Blauig. “This also affects on-site assembly, which is characterized by short implementation times.”

XPROMA systems supports efficiency in picking according to the goods-to-employee principle, in the packing and repacking processes with ergonomically designed workplace solutions. The flexible solutions with their individual components can be tailored to the individual requirements of the logistics processes and the employees and ensure fatigue-free work. At the LogiMAT 2019, XPROMA systems will be presenting a well thought-out workplace solution that will provide visitors with an example of the wide range of design options.
